Aidan!
Well anything that could go wrong with this shoot did! Aidan is my youngest & he fell asleep on the way to the location. So he woke up cranky and I got just a few shots in before it started rainning! Well good thing he is so cute! lol!
Photoshop
I have been enjoying my updated copy of Photoshop, last night I played around with several actions and filters. I love what I came up with- sort of a fantasy fairy look. It was very popular on Facebook today as my oldest daughter’s friends saw her new profile pic. She was quite taken with it as was her younger sister so then I had to make a “fairy” pic of her too. I love learning new things and experimenting! Hope you all like these as well!
Collin and Savannah have arrived!
+Collin and Savannah have finally arrived! What a pair of cuties too! I must say I love my job, I had so much fun photographing these two sweet babies. And what could be more cute than babies…..why babies in bunny hats of course!
Anna!
My youngest daughter was willing to model for me so I get to show off one of my new knit hats! What a cutie!
I have some really precious hats on order for newborns that are coming soon. I will be posting a special for Easter Portraits soon!
I love the Flylady!
As you may have guessed from the title I love the Flylady! Who is the Flylady you ask? She helps clutterbugs like me become more organized and together! She helps you set routines and tells you to take babysteps. The most important thing I have learned to do is work 15 minutes at a time. I can do 15 minutes of just about anything! So I have become more organized and that makes me (and my family) happy! Which got me to thinking, dangerous I know! As artists we need to keep learning and growing, but life gets busy and can get in the way. So I am going to take 15 minutes each day to learn or practice something new related to photography each day. Some days it will be more than 15 minutes of course but I will spend at least 15 minutes each day doing what I love and am passionate about! Thank you Flylady!

Bethany
Today I saw a former bride and groom of mine, one of my favorite couples at that! Bethany is getting into acting and needed some headshots. I am really glad the weather was nice enough for them to make it over here today as we had alot of ice last night. The session went well and we got some great images for her to choose from. I love it when I shoot a wedding and make friends with the couple! I am sure she will do well and go far. Break a leg Bethany!
Baby Nya
Last night I had a portrait session with Nya. She is a dear friends daughter, and just beautiful! I love my job and the people I meet! Her mom and dad were the first wedding I agreed to shoot, I have done their maternity portraits, and now get to watch this sweetie grow up! In what other job would I get to be apart of peoples lives on an on going basis!?!
Testing!
