Aidan’s 4th Birthday
Today was a bitter-sweet day for me. My youngest turned 4!
I won!
I still can’t believe it but I won a Shootsac in a contest on Facebook today! I am the type of person who never wins anything but this month I have won a prize in a drawing for a one year membership (or in my case an extension) in the PPA and now this. I am just so beside myself!!! My oldest says I will be styling at my next wedding, something tells me she doesn’t think my belt system was stylish enough.
Volunteering!
We have been looking forward to going to Disney World again for a long time now. When we heard Disney was having a special program to earn free tickets for a day at a Disney theme park we were so excited! Talk about a win win situation! So on New Years Day we signed up and began looking over volunteer oppertunities. We wanted to include the whole family and their weren’t any particpating places in our area. So we talked about it and signed up with a group about 2 hours away. They make sack lunches for school children to take home to eat over the weekend when they might not otherwise have something to eat. We all had a wonderful time and met some great people. Even my two year old Aidan was able to help. He carried bags to their correct location and was so proud of himself! If we are ever back in the area we would love to stop in and help again.
